Bow Hut renovation 2023

Summer 2023 saw a major improvement project at Bow, with a dedicated ACC maintenance staff spending two weeks at the hut upgrading and improving the power and ventilation systems, renovating the breezeway that joins the living and sleeping quarters, and adding a new front door vestibule.

ACC Hut Ambassador Program

With the ACC’s growing network of backcountry huts, it can be quite difficult to have a consistent set of eyes and ears on the ground. While we do have seasonal custodians at a few of them, and the maintenance team visits the huts on a regular basis, it’s still quite sparse for the coverage that’s sometimes required - enter the ACC Hut Ambassador Program.
